The grand mural was painted using the trompe-l’oeil art technique by the CitéCréation art collective in 1994-1995.As you gaze towards the Fresque des Lyonnais, you’ll immediately notice the 30 people realistically painted onto the building. These depictions are of illustrious people in Lyon, including 24 historical figures and 6 contemporary characters.
